Marsha Battee is a Registered Nurse and Lifestyle Design Strategist for Nurse Entrepreneurs, teaching nurses how to start (or revive) their own businesses by giving them business strategies, insight and inspiration at TheBossyNurse.com and on The Bossy Nurse Facebook Page.

Marsha received her nursing degree from Georgetown University. She’s a Health Writer at NurseGail.com and is also a featured blogger with The Nerdy Nurse’s “Nurse Blog Carnival”. During Nurse’s Week, she’ll engage with the nursing community as a Connective Amplifier for the Art of Nursing 2.0 Virtual Conference.

Having worked behind the scenes in the startup of Nabee Socks and started her own boutique travel firm, RN Getaways, Marsha also works part-time as a Forensic Nurse Examiner, caring for patients after sexual assault and intimate partner violence. She also has experience in burn/trauma and the emergency department.

Marsha founded Wealth & Wellness LIVE for Nurses and Nurse Entrepreneurs after seeing a lack of programs that focused on teaching nurses business building skills while incorporating the practice of self-care. She has an entrepreneurial spirit and makes it her mission to help nurses accomplish their goals of business ownership.
