In February of 2015, Keith Carlson and Kevin Ross of RNFM Radio converged on the New Mexico Nurses Association’s “Capital Challenge Day” in downtown Santa Fe.

The annual NMNA “Capital Challenge Day” brings nursing students and professional nurses to the state capital for education on the legislative process. Speakers and presenters inform the nurses about salient healthcare-related legislative issues, and then the students and nurses descend on the capital to meet with their state senators and representatives in order to make their individual and collective voices heard.

During this inspiring two-day workshop, Keith and Kevin delivered two informative and fun talks in their own inimitable style, including a keynote address entitled, “Raising Nursing’s Collective Voice“. Just imagine Keith and Kevin talking on stage together—it’s like a live radio show!
