Developing the Idea and Building the Business with Tiffany Kelley, RNFM Radio EPS 249

On episode 249, we’re talking to Dr. Tiffany Kelley, the Founder and CEO of Nightingale Apps, LLC. She established the company in an effort to provide nurses and health care teams with tools that would allow them access to information for point of care delivery.
Tiffany earned her Ph.D. from Duke University in 2012, a Master’s in Nursing and MBA from Northeastern University in 2008, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in 2000. Kelley recently released a new book, “Electronic Health Records for Quality Nursing and Health Care” which is designed to support nurses of all roles with the information needed to incorporate EHRs into the daily practice for quality patient care.
We cover so-called “Business 101” in this episode: finding the paint point for a target audience and delivering a service or product that meets that target audience’s needs.
The idea is usually the easy part — the hard part is building the business.
