Kelsey RowellOn episode 195, we at RNFM Radio are so very lucky to entertain the presence of Kelsey Rowell, RN, a fantastic guest who’s young, enthusiastic, and a passionately positive nurse. This is an inspiring episode, and we’re so excited to have you hear it!

Kelsey Rowell is a registered nurse from Marietta, GA. A nursing professional for 3 years, Kelsey graduated from an ADN program in Tallahassee, FL, and recently appeared on the Dr. Oz show as a finalist for his “National Nurse Search” on which she sang a song about nursing. She is the author and nurse behind the Your Heart Is Mine blog site; her mission is to spread love, encouragement, passion, and creativity within the nursing profession.

Kelsey is the leader of the Georgia chapter of the national Show Me Your Stethoscope group. This passionate community of nurses rallies and pushes for state-mandated nursing ratios.

Kelsey is currently working on a book of daily nursing inspirations that will be published early next year. She also has an Etsy shop where she shares her signature nursing badge holders and headbands. She currently works as a Float Pool nurse specializing in cardiac and pulmonary thoracic care. She is studying for her PCCN and looking forward to a lot more fun with her blog and website.

Kelsey Rowell on Dr. OzKelsey is a bundle of positive energy, and her personality comes through in her writing, music, videos, and conversational style.

As a young nurse relatively new to the profession, Kelsey has made an enormous splash, including being a finalist in Dr. Oz’s #NurseSearch contest.
