Cora Vizcarra MBA, RN, CRNI, VA-BC is an infusion nurse consultant and founder/president of a privately owned healthcare consulting and education corporation. She has more than 25 years of healthcare experience in both the hospital and alternative healthcare settings. She is experienced in insertion and management of various vascular access devices as well as administration of intravenous medications. She holds certification in infusion therapy (CRNI) and vascular access (VA-BC). She is actively involved in many professional medical and nursing organizations and was the President for the Infusion Nurses Society in 2008-2009. She has authored numerous articles and chapters in infusion nursing textbooks and other healthcare professional journals. She is known as @infusionnurse on twitter and is the author of the “Infusion Nurse Blog”.
